The Chihuahua is the smallest breed of dog (averaging 6 lbs., 6-9 inches tall), making it
the easiest of all breeds to carry around. Their coats come in a variety colors and may
either be smooth or long, requiring minimal grooming. The Smooth coat variety
requires only occasional brushing. The Long coat variety should be brushed several times a
week with a soft bristle brush. Both varieties only need bathing once a month using a mild
shampoo. Special care must be given to not get water into their ears, as they are prone to
ear infections. The Chihuahua is originally from a warm climate and does not tolerate cold
making it a must to be protected when taken outside.
The Chihuahua makes an excellent apartment or condominium dweller. Most of their exercise
needs can be met with toys or indoor play sessions. However, they enjoy going with their
owners and benefit from daily walks. Because of their small size and delicate bone
structure, using a harness is recommended instead of a leash.
A Chihuahua takes himself very seriously. Some think they are Great Danes. They make keen
watchdogs, require little exercise and live a long time.
Due to their small size and temperment, Chihuahuas should not be considered suitable for
families with small children.

Puppies priced early may have their prices changed as they get older and change, until
they are sold, which locks in a price. Puppies picked before 9 weeks old can be
changed for another one until it is 9 weeks old and then it is considered sold and deposit
is non -transferable. If the puppy is over 9 weeks old when the deposit is put on
it, the deposit is non transferable to another puppy. A non-refundable deposit is
required to hold a puppy. We ship priority parcel out of Dallas, Texas. The
cost of the health certificate, crate, and shipping is $275. A Puppy must be not only old
enough, but big enough to ship. When puppies are ready to go, you have 7 days to pay it
off with the shipping, if applicable. If the puppy has to be shipped, you need to
pay it off early or pay with a cashiers check or through paypal, to avoid holding up
shipping [paypal charges 3% to use them]. If the puppy is being picked up, final
payment can be made at that time. If puppy is not paid off are other arrangements
made with in two weeks of being told puppy is ready to go, puppy is put back up for sale
and your deposit is forfeited. If I meet you down the road to pick up your puppy, there
will be an extra charge, to off set expenses.
